Personal Achievements
Holder of an English Karate Governing Body ('Sport Britain' recognised) Karate 5th dan, also fully trained in Classical Chinese Kung Fu to instructor level, (4th degree - achieved in 1984).

Represented English Karate at Sport Britain 'Excel' in 1992 along with Britain's top sporting personalities representing their respective disciplines, and again at 'Olympia', hosted at Wembley Arena in 1993.

Author of nine published Martial Arts books. Titles include: 'Zen Shaolin Karate' (Tokyo, Tuttle 1994) and 'Barefoot Zen' (York Beach, Maine 2000). Commissioned in 2001 to research and write six hardback volumes on the Martial Arts, for use in American High schools and colleges. Titles: 'Karate, Kung Fu, Ju Jutsu, Kickboxing, Martial Arts for the Mind and Martial Arts for Children', (Philadelphia, Mason Crest 2001). His latest book, 'The Great Karate Myth' outlines classical Karate in detail, and is accompanied by an instructional DVD.

Nathan has considerable experience of teaching Martial Arts. He is a well-known and internationally acknowledged Martial Arts researcher and teacher with a particular ability to communicate the positive values inherent in Martial Arts training for all.

Nathan has contributed many articles to high profile international Martial arts Magazines over the years and he continues to work on various publishing projects. After the publication of Zen Shaolin Karate, a full page article on this groundbreaking book appeared in Japan's Largest English written broadsheet, the Daily Yomiure. Nathan has taught seminars in the UK, Europe and the USA. He has also appeared on ITV television, and has been featured on BBC Radio.

Personal Achievements
Andy originally trained in Shotokan karate, gaining a First Dan black belt with the KUGB in 1990. He was a member of the winning kata team at the British Universities Sports Association championships in 1992, after which he began training in Ko-do Ryu. He has instructed at the Southampton University Ko-do Ryu club, and ran a successful dojo in west London in the mid 1990s before moving to Sussex in 2000, where he is currently senior instructor at the Brighton club. He was awarded his Menkyo (5th Dan) grade in 2004.

Personal Achievements
Gary trained in Shotokan karate before joining Zen Shorin Do karate (Ko-do Ryu) in 1993 at the University of Southampton. He was awarded his 1st Dan in 1997 and taught karate in Montpellier, France until 2000, where he also studied Capoeira. He then relocated to Belgium and set up a Ko-do Ryu club. During that period he organised several international seminars with martial artists from all over Europe and was awarded his 4th Dan.

In 2005 he returned to England where he taught karate at Nottingham University. Now in Mons, he teaches Ko-do Ryu Karate and Kobudo.

Personal Achievements
David trained in Shotokan karate in France before moving to Belgium where he started training in Ko-do Ryu karate with Gary McGlone.
In 2006 he achieved his 2nd Dan (Ko-do Ryu) in Mons, Belgium. David teaches Ko-do Ryu Karate at his hometown of Arzal. He organised the first International Ko-do Ryu camp in France in April 2006. He is a fully qualified English teacher with a degree in English from Nantes University.
